Official Rules: Ingame & Forums


On Gielinor, rules are set as a high aspect. Break one of these rules and you will be taking down a ton of bricks on yourself. Following the rules daily may earn you a staff position. It may also earn you the right of being respected by other members of the community.


Rules:

1. Scamming is not allowed, if you scam and have been reported for it, you will receive 1 warning.


2. Swearing must be kept at a minimum, if used to frequently, you will receive a mute(3 warnings)..


3. Hacking - if you have hacked a account and have been reported with proof by the victims side, you will receive a ban(4 warnings) + a extra 2 warnings.


4. Racism. Racism is not taken lightly. If you have nothing good to say, DO NOT SAY IT AT ALL! A racist remark may cost you up to 6 of your warnings (ban+mute)!


5. Adult content may not be posted on this forum. If you are caught posting pornography on the site, you will receive 3 warnings (mute).


6. Spamming is a forums main concern, although is of a low warning cost. You will receive 1/2 of a warning.


7. Flaming is a very annoying issue. Anyone caught flaming and not helping a person will receive 1 1/2 warnings.


Each member that registers or plays the serverforums will each have 20 warning. Each warning will represent a consequence. Here is a list:

If you think we set up rules just for the sake of having them, you are greatly mistaken. The Gielinor staff will not take such matter lightly, nor will they fight with you about what happen. If there is 2 players that have there side of the story and the decision cannot be made, you will both be punished.


Posting appeals


Each player has a maximum of 5 appeals they can use. 1 appeal is for the 5 hour ban or mute, 2nd is for the 2 days, 3rd for 4 days and lastly 5th for the permanent consequence. After your last appeal you can no longer appeal! If you try you appeal will be ignored and deleted.
